Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County is seeking a Digital Accessibility & Design Administrator to ensure inclusive, accessible digital products and experiences. The role blends UX, visual design, and assistive tech to embed accessibility throughout the lifecycle, collaborating with web developers and content creators to promote inclusive design culture.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience, with certifications like CPACC or Section 508 desired

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science, Information Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of related experience in accessibility, UX/design, or digital content.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce accessible digital solutions for CCAC websites, portals, and apps.
• Ensure WCAG 2.x/ADA compliance across platforms with automated and manual testing.
• Consult, guide, and train content owners on accessibility best practices.
• Maintain CCAC digital brand standards and accessibility checklists.
• Review PDFs and documents for accessibility using Acrobat and related tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, ITS, and content stakeholders for consistency.
