Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Abdominal Imaging. The role requires ABR certification or eligibility, Texas medical licensure, and fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging.

Responsibilities include multimodality imaging for oncology patients, education of students and trainees, and development of academic projects.

Qualifications

• Requires medical degree and board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Radiology.
• Licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners is required.
• Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging is required; BLS/ACLS certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services for abdominal malignancies.
• Provide multimodality abdominal imaging expertise (CT, MRI, ultrasound, biopsies, fluoroscopy, radiography).
• Educate medical students, residents and fellows.
• Develop academic and scholarly programs to advance cancer understanding.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical care, research and education.
