Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA seeks an A&E Manager to lead Architects and Engineers, ensuring milestones are met and coordinating across remodels and takeovers. You will streamline prototype/CAD standards, supervise change orders, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with codes.

The role requires 5–7 years in design/construction, a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

5-7 yrs in design or construction.
Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes; construction methods and materials; project management.
Must read/interpret plans, specs, building codes, and lease exhibits.
Excellent oral and/or written communication skills and ability to present to Sr Leadership.
Strong analytical skills with Excel; ability to analyze financial data.
Decision making and delegation skills for leading teams.

Responsibilities

Plan and initiate OCR market due diligence with A&E budget tracker and contracts.
Develop and execute Architectural Master agreements and guidelines.
Lead weekly meetings to ensure milestones and track progress.
Coordinate changes across remodels and takeovers with multiple departments.
Review value engineering feedback and implement cost-saving ideas.
Manage Change Order process and address architectural issues.
Standardize redline review for ARCH/MEP and ensure compliance with prototypes.
