Ford Design in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Digital Asset Coordinator to orchestrate the 3D content pipeline across design studios, Digital Product Design, and engineering. This individual-contributor role supports the Core UX center of excellence, reporting to the 3D Design Manager, with a hybrid schedule onsite four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years in creative coordination or technical pipeline within automotive studios, CGI agencies, or automotive-focused production pipelines.
• Proven track record tracking complex, multi-stakeholder 3D asset programs from concept through final delivery.
• Deep understanding of automotive 3D data workflows, including Class-A surfacing, engineering CAD, and real-time rendering engines.

Responsibilities

• Track assets and deliverables across multiple vehicle programs with visibility into asset status, risks, and pipeline dependencies.
• Serve as primary cross-functional partner between Ford design studios and Digital Product Design engineering teams; translate creative intent into technical data briefs; facilitate reviews and approvals.
• Oversee production lifecycles for 3D content, optimize CAD-to-Real-Time workflows, and maintain rigorous documentation of workflows and version control.
• Identify pipeline bottlenecks, missing data, and risks; coordinate asset delivery timelines with internal teams and external vendors; escalate risks with data-backed recommendations.
