Job summary

SEO Scholars High School program in New York seeks a Program Manager, 10th Grade, to lead a cohort of 80-90 sophomores through advisement, workshops, and socio-emotional development. This is a full-time, exempt role with hybrid work requiring in-person Saturdays and weekend programming at partner sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of high school teaching experience required.
Experience working with large groups of high school students.
Understanding the unique needs of first-generation and low-income students.

Responsibilities

Lead SEO Scholars programming on Saturdays, after school, and during the summer for a large cohort.
Develop and deliver effective lesson plans aligned to programming goals.
Create a supportive, college-going culture with high expectations for student behavior.
Provide academic advising to Scholars through 1:1 and group meetings with parents.
Track student progress and ensure attendance, retention, and completion goals.
Coordinate with grade-level staff to transition Scholars between grades.
Manage program data and project plans with clear deliverables and deadlines.
