TKO EMPLOYMENT SERVICES DELAWARE LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations at Hyatt House Lewes Rehoboth Beach in Lewes, DE. The role focuses on strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring adherence to company policies and brand standards.

Ideal candidates bring proven hotel management experience, strong leadership, and a track record in revenue growth and guest satisfaction within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A university degree in hotel management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Department Head level experience in a branded upscale/boutique full service hotel.
• Hotel opening or repositioning experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of A La Carte Restaurant and/or Banquet Management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems is a plus.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and be a team player.
• Must be able to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external guests.
• Must have knowledge of computers and training techniques.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the hotel.
• Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies and brand standards.
• Handling complaints and overseeing the service recovery procedures.
• Prepare, present and achieve the hotel's Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
• Manage profitability, meet revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Deliver budget goals and set long-term strategic goals.
• Understand P&L and react with impactful strategies.
• Monitor daily business reports and make decisions accordingly.
• Ensure monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, F&B, Admin & General are on target.
• Maximize room yield and revenue through sales and yield management.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and operational excellence. The GM will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership to inspire and guide a diverse team, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment. A proven track record in strategic planning and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management are essential for success in this position.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee the overall operations of the hotel.
• Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and brand standards.
• Handling complaints and overseeing the service recovery procedures.
• Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
• Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
• Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long-term strategic goals for the property.
• A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
• Closely monitor the hotel's business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
• Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate.
• Maximizing room yield and hotels/resort revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.
• Act as a final decision maker in hiring key team members.
• Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
• Manage and develop the team to ensure career progression and development.
• Be accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
• Provide effective leadership to hotel team members.
• Embraces TKo’s Culture of CARE and creates this culture within the hotel.
• Actively engaged in the sales process and takes part in new client acquisition along with the sales team.
• Responsible for operating the hotel within the Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal and regulatory requirements.
