Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and take orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review daily orders and ensure adequate food supply by following a production list.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products and pull items from cooler/freezer as needed for cooking.
• Maintain food quality and appearance; monitor freshness throughout the shift.
• Operate the department register, process payments, and make change as applicable.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and department guidelines; keep area clean and safe.
