Job summary

Haywire is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support a fast-paced Texas kitchen. You will clean and organize dishes, maintain a sanitary back-of-house, and help ensure smooth operations during high-volume service.

Ideal candidates have a year of dishwashing experience, can read chemical labels, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year steward or dishwasher experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dish area and back-of-house environment.
• Ensure every plate, fork, glass, and bowl sparkles and shines.
• Support kitchen staff and contribute to efficient, high-volume operations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year steward or dishwasher experience preferred, high volume experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city and company regulations
