Job summary

Siemens Gas and Power GmbH & Co. KG seeks an experienced Commissioning Manager for HVDC in Raleigh, NC. You will implement, test, and verify hardware and software for HVDC applications, working with multinational teams to deliver customized solutions.

You will oversee Factory Acceptance Tests and on-site commissioning at construction sites. The role requires 10+ years in commissioning of large-scale plants, strong project management, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of professional experience in commissioning or commissioning management of large-scale plants.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and on construction sites in the U.S. and abroad.
• Strong decision-making and communication in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute tests and commissioning of HVDC transmission systems in a timely, cost-efficient, and quality-focused manner.
• Lead international teams of commissioning engineers and contribute to Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned programs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, laws, regulations, and health and safety standards (FST/FAT).
• Coordinate site activities, documentation, and communication with suppliers and partners.
• Support risk and claim management and handle non-conformance reporting on site.
