Job summary

San Bernardino Unified School District is seeking skilled HVACR personnel to install, repair and maintain refrigeration, heating, ventilation, evaporative cooling, and energy management control systems in district facilities. Duties include inspecting equipment, selecting appropriate tools, estimating time and material costs, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and services all types of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, and energy management systems.
• Inspects and tests heating, refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, and energy management control systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Utilizes a variety of power equipment and hand tools in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Maintains and repairs hydraulic pneumatic compressors and air control systems related to air conditioning and energy management control systems.
• Adjusts and installs valves, thermostats, fans, pressure regulators and pumps.
• Requisitions, orders and stores parts and materials.
