Job summary

Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join our commercial foodservice service team. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC systems in restaurants and commercial kitchens.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, troubleshooting walk-in units and kitchen systems, and providing guidance to junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Experience working in restaurants, commercial kitchens, or foodservice facilities preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and handle service calls efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Replace compressors, motors, controls, valves, fans, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Communicate professionally with restaurant managers, customers, and dispatch.
• Document repairs, parts needed, and recommended follow-up work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $40+. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, specialized expertise, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience, manufacture certifications, CFESA, or leadership experience may be considered at the higher end of the range.
