- Submission of requested information including but not limited to Eleventh-day Audit, mid-term and final grades, assessment reports, and other materials on time and in the appropriate format.
- Completion of regular professional development both as provided by the College or Division and as available through relevant professional organizations.

Position Summary:
This position will provide instruction to high school aged students in HVAC-R skills, specifically teaching courses in HVAC Basics, Unit Installation, Air Flow Measurements, Basic Compression Refrigeration and Furnace Configurations. The instructor should have experience in the function, use, installation, operation, performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety associated with tools and techniques in the HVAC Industry. Conducts daily work in alignment with ASU Three Rivers mission and academic purpose.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to perform and teach the skills required of HVAC technicians in a variety of different settings
- Knowledge of and ability to use equipment commonly used in the field (meters, gauges, hand tools, etc.)
- Safety protocols expected within the field (OSHA)
- Professional employ ability skills expected within the field (soft skills)
- Ability to assist students in meeting course objectives in a manner that is appropriate for students with diverse educational and experiential backgrounds and learning styles
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both written and verbal, with high school and college administrators, industry and community leaders, students' parents and/or guardians, and Career Center coworkers
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Use of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities required of HVAC technicians in the field
- Ability to complete the SkillsUSA Chapter Management Institute
- Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills
- Fulfill all college and state licensing requirements within two years from the hire date
- Basic Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
General Days/Hours:
Monday Through Friday 8 am to 5pm
Other:
Preferred Education or Experience:
- 10+ years of current experience working in the field
- 5+ years of instructional experience in teaching and similar field
- 2+ years’ experience developing technology curriculum's
- 2+ years of experience as an educator of high school students
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Extensive Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Canvas experience
- Google Classroom and Google Docs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in related field (Preferred but not required). Professional certifications plus 6 years of work experience in the industry may be considered in lieu of the required degree. Solid knowledge and understanding of common equipment, processes, procedures, laws, and safety expectations found in the field.
- Must fulfill all college and state licensing requirements within two years from the hire date.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen on the day of the offer, pass state and federal background checks, and child maltreatment registry check
