Job summary

ConServ Building Services, LLC is hiring Urgently for HVACR Commercial Lead Installers in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves reading drawings, estimating, duct layout, installation of sheet metal and ductwork, and coordinating with trades. Travel between NC/SC is required; company van and gas card provided.

Regular Mon–Fri schedule with competitive benefits. Requires 4+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the HVAC trade.
• Ability to interpret drawings, scopes and equipment submittals.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
• Maintains valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes and equipment submittals.
• Estimate pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete jobs.
• Layout ductwork and coordinate with other trades.
• Install sheet metal, ducting, dampers and air devices.
• Measure and order sheet metal fittings; hang and set equipment.
• Perform copper/brass piping, insulation and low voltage wiring tasks.
• Operate and troubleshoot system startup; document progress daily.

Note: This position requires to travel between North and South Carolina (company van and gas card is provided).

Position is MON to FRI only, no weekend work!

What you will be doing:

• Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
• Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
• Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
• Layout of duct work for install and coordination with other trades
• Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measuring & drawing up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
• Hanging/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
• Hanging of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
• Insulation of ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
• Copper brazing, equipment startup and troubleshooting a plus
• Daily communication of work completed through company tablet

What you need for this position:

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• Must have EPA certification
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
