Job summary

ConServ Building Services is urgently hiring HVACR Commercial Lead Installers in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role includes competitive salary and sign-on bonus, alongside benefits such as 401(k) match and paid time off.

Responsibilities include installation of ductwork, reading technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with local codes. The position requires travel between North and South Carolina with provided transportation. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with installations of ductwork and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to estimate job pricing and material takeoffs.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal, fibrous board, and ductwork.
• Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes.
• Coordinate with other trades for duct work layout.

What you will be doing:

• Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
• Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
• Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
• Layout of duct work for install and coordination with other trades
• Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measuring & drawing up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
• Hanging/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
• Hanging of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
• Insulation of ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
