Job summary

ConServ Building Services, LLC in Charlotte, NC is hiring HVACR Commercial Lead Installers. The role involves reading drawings, estimating, duct layout, and installing sheet metal, ductwork, and air devices throughout NC/SC. Travel between North and South Carolina is required; company van and gas card provided.

Working Mon-Fri with a comprehensive benefits package. Qualified candidates have 4+ years in HVAC, EPA certification, OSHA knowledge, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade.
• EPA certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and pass background and drug tests.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes and equipment submittals.
• Estimate pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete jobs.
• Layout duct work and coordinate with other trades.
• Install sheet metal, fibrous board, flex duct and air devices.
• Hang/cise exhaust fans, dampers, and HVAC units.
• Install copper, PVC and piping hangers for refrigerant and condensate lines.
• Insulate ductwork and manage low voltage controls wiring.
• Daily communicate work progress via company tablet.

Position is MON to FRI only, no weekend work!

What you will be doing:

• Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
• Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
• Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
• Layout of duct work for install and coordination with other trades
• Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measuring & drawing up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
• Hanging/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
• Hanging of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
• Insulation of ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
• Copper brazing, equipment startup and troubleshooting a plus
• Daily communication of work completed through company tablet

What you need for this position:

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• Must have EPA certification
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
