Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Gas Welder/Brazer in Murfreesboro, TN to assemble PCA systems used on aircraft ground support. You will brazing copper piping and read engineering drawings, performing hands-on mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires brazing copper and blueprint literacy, with safety and quality standards guiding your daily tasks. This is a temporary-to-hire position offering PTO and optional benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Copper brazing experience, especially copper piping.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Experience using basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble piping, mechanical parts, and electrical components for PCA systems according to drawings and work instructions.
• Perform brazing and plumbing work to connect HVAC piping and copper assemblies.
• Prepare, fit, and braze copper-to-copper connections.
• Set up and perform testing of PCA units and troubleshoot when needed.
• Inspect work for quality and follow procedures to correct issues.
