Job summary

Abstrakt Marketing Group is seeking an HVAC Welder to fabricate, assemble, and weld components for HVAC systems. The role requires reading blueprints, working with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include welding using MIG/TIG/arc, interpreting drawings, supporting installation, and performing maintenance on HVAC systems. Travel to job sites may be required and PPE compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding certification from an accredited institution (AWS/ASME) required.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-acetylene welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welding & fabrication of HVAC components to spec.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Assist in installation of HVAC systems and ensuring proper fit of welded parts.
• Maintain safety and quality assurance per regulations and codes.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems as needed.
• Prepare metals for welding and handle welding materials safely.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and project managers to meet objectives.
