Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Journeyman to join our Orlando team. You will fabricate, weld, and install piping for commercial HVAC systems, read blueprints, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

You will work with MIG, TIG, and stick welding, interpret drawings, and coordinate with other trades to complete projects on schedule. A strong background in reading schematics and local codes is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical trades installing systems on commercial/industrial sites.
• 5+ years of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to work with steel, copper, and aluminum.
• AWS welding certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Install, weld, and maintain HVAC piping systems.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding.
• Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied.
• Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience working within the HVAC/mechanical trade installing systems on commercial and industrial construction sites.
• 5+ years of Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick pipe welding methods.
• Ability to work with a variety of materials, including steel, copper, and aluminum.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certification) is preferred.
• Capability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
