Job summary

Gemaire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced HVAC distribution team. You will load/unload products, receive and stock merchandise, verify items against orders, and pick/prepare shipments while maintaining safety and organization in the warehouse.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, customer service excellence, and adherence to safety protocols. Experience with forklift operation is a plus; bilinguals and HVAC knowledge are welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
