Job summary

gemairedistributors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage day-to-day warehouse tasks in a fast-paced setting. You will handle picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory control using warehouse equipment, ensuring accurate processing and timely dispatch to customers and vendors for HVAC distributorships.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
