Job summary

Havtec is seeking a VRV/VRF Technical Field Supervisor in Columbia, MD, to supervise HVAC field service activities and provide technical leadership for service projects. The role includes coordinating technicians, ensuring quality, and supporting service processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial HVAC service, strong communication skills, and experience in mentoring technicians, with occasional travel to client sites and project locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of directly related HVAC industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of operations for installation and service of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to supervise and coach technicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise VRV Field Technicians and coordinate service projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and owners.
• Develop and implement VRV processes to support services.
• Ensure quality and safety standards on job sites.
• Mentor Service Apprentices and coordinate scheduling with Service Coordinators.
• Travel locally with some overnight stays.
