Job summary

BCH Mechanical, L.L.C. is hiring an HVAC VRF Technician for our team in Largo, FL. This role focuses on installing, commissioning, and servicing VRF systems across commercial settings, reading drawings, and coordinating with other trades.

We seek candidates with 3+ years of HVAC/commissioning experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders. OSHA 10 is preferred. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the HVAC/Commissioning field.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to climb and work off ladders, climb extension ladders to roof.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, to extend arms over head to facilitate installation of product.

Responsibilities

• VRF Experience
• Reading and comprehending drawings, plans & equipment submittals
• Hanging/setting of RTUs, split systems, & other mechanical equipment
• Hanging, fitting, and brazing of copper piping for refrigerant, condensate, and chilled water
• Startup of equipment and troubleshooting/diagnostic
• Layout of HVAC equipment and materials for coordination with other trades
• Takeoff and ordering of materials required to complete the jobs
