Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking an Assembler I for HVAC and UV light manufacturing. You will support production by moving, staging, and replenishing materials to keep line flow steady and quality up.

You will operate forklifts (or become certified), stage line-side parts, perform kitting, and verify inventories in the ERP system while adhering to 5S and ISO 9001 standards. Candidates should be reliable, team oriented, and able to follow standard work in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or assembling roles.
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to certify.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from production areas and stockrooms.
• Stage line-side materials to support daily production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Perform kitting and ensure all required components are available for production orders.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP, including movements and adjustments.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits for accuracy and traceability.
• Verify materials against work orders and report shortages or quality concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized inventory locations in line with 5S standards.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures for material handling and documentation.
• Collaborate with leads and supply chain to maintain workflow and safety.
