Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Technical Team Lead to supervise 12-15 field technicians and drive safe, high-quality service in Michigan.

You will mentor technicians, manage quotes, scheduling, and on-site safety while building strong customer relationships. The role requires a mechanical journeyman license and 5+ years HVAC/mechanical service experience; a valid driver’s license and refrigerant/boiler knowledge are essential.

How you will do it

The Technical Team Lead (TTL) must be a skilled craftsman in their trade and have a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the industrial HVAC chiller, plumbing, pipefitting, security & fire and /or mechanical equipment service industry. Interaction with customers, ability, and desire to help develop technicians, attention to detail while on site and in quoting jobs, scheduling, promoting safety and constant communication plays a key role in this position. Must be computer literate and tech savvy and can develop, close, and manage all types of quoted work.

Pay Range: $49.69 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
