What You Will Do

• Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components
• Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, along with hand tools and electronic testing equipment
• Provide frontline technical support, repair, and update recommendations to customers

How You Will Do It

• Load Johnson Controls field and network controller software
• Perform commissioning and diagnostics for controllers and end devices, completing all documentation
• Keep management and clients informed of progress and issues
• Calibrate systems with electronic test equipment
• Complete administrative tasks and document changes for as-built records
• Engage in ongoing training to maintain high knowledge levels
• Understand customer needs and communicate effectively
• Follow all safety standards and attend safety training

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience with BAS systems such as Honeywell, Siemens, Tridium, Trane, etc.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applications
• Technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
• Ability to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment
• Proficiency with personal computers
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
