What You Will Do

We are looking for a skilled HVAC systems serviceman who has worked in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team. You will work on the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment, providing our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related issues. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

Servicemen should have practical experience with residential, light commercial, or commercial mechanical equipment and may need to pass an examination to demonstrate specific skills. The scope includes commercial HVACR service, partnering with Journeymen on complex machinery such as centrifugal, steam turbines, absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers, and ammonia systems.

Your responsibilities include performing maintenance, repairs, and replacements on commercial heating and cooling systems, providing recommendations and solutions to improve efficiency, and supporting upselling opportunities with quotes.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience
• Ability to complete a 30-hour OSHA certification post-hire, including after hours and weekends
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
• Good computer skills and effective verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience
• Refrigeration Certification (preferred)
• This position is part of a bargaining unit
