What you will do:

How you will do it:

1. Adhere to Johnson Controls' industry-leading safety program.
2. Maintain customer relationships through service excellence.
3. Manage customer systems via preventative maintenance contracts.
4. Work with customers on service repairs and solutions.
5. Change and service filters.
6. Oil and grease bearings.
7. Perform belt adjustments and replacements.
8. Perform maintenance on cooling towers and condensers (coils, evaporators, tubes).
9. Perform general housekeeping tasks as required by customer contracts.
10. Operate mechanical equipment as necessary per customer contracts.
11. Use basic hand tools for maintenance tasks.
12. Perform indoor air quality maintenance, including cleaning duct systems and drain pans.
13. Transport rigging equipment to and from sites as needed.
14. Service products and equipment on luxury yachts, ensuring customer satisfaction.

What we look for: Requirements

• Mechanical Journeyperson status required.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in residential, light commercial, or commercial HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate licenses for refrigerants, boilers, and steam operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• This position is part of a bargaining unit.
• Membership in good standing with Local 440 Plumber & Pipefitters preferred.

Assets

• Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocols.
• Previous technical/installation experience.
