University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a HVAC Training & Safety Officer to develop and deliver safety and technical training for personnel working with HVAC and refrigeration systems on campus.

The role includes hands-on maintenance of DX units, environmental chambers, boilers, and other cooling equipment, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and compliance. A NC driver’s license and EPA 608 certification are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• EPA 608 universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in HVAC service, installation, diagnostics and maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver safety and technical training for HVAC personnel.
• Maintain and update training records; monitor progress and equipment safety.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on DX refrigeration systems and related equipment.
