Job summary

Bosch in Norman, OK is seeking a Test Technician to join the Engineering Lab team. You will prepare and install HVAC test units, simulate field installation conditions, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the test facility.

Responsibilities include setting up data acquisition, analyzing test data, modifying test units based on results, and using instrument software to run tests. The role requires two years HVAC-related experience and willingness to work 2nd shift with a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Two years HVAC-related work/education experience.
• Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and components (compressor, condenser, metering device, evaporator).
• Reading wiring diagrams and modifying unit wiring and controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up test facilities and connect data acquisition instruments according to general instructions and per test standard requirements.
• Analyze test data and modify the test unit based on analysis.
• Utilize computer software to run tests, collect, and analyze data.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as required.
