Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Temperature Control Technician 2 in Baton Rouge, LA. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, testing and commissioning of commercial HVAC and temperature control equipment at customer sites and in the Baton Rouge service center.

This hands-on role supports petrochemical and refinery environments with a strong safety culture and training opportunities. Expect to split time between field (about 70%) and the service center (about 30%), handling

Qualifications

1–2 years of chiller, commercial A/C or related HVAC service experience.
EPA 608 certified with hands-on knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Comfortable with electrical troubleshooting using meters and schematics.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and temperature control equipment in the field and service center.
Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on air-cooled and water-cooled systems, including related equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and HVAC issues using meters and schematics to identify failures and complete repairs.
Set up, test and operate HVAC/chiller systems at customer locations, including generator-assisted projects.
Maintain safe, reliable service in petrochemical and refinery environments per Aggreko standards.
