Job summary

GMC is seeking a motivated HVAC Technician/Sheet Metal Installer to join our dynamic team. You will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as sheet metal components for both commercial and residential projects, ensuring comfort, energy efficiency and safety across sites.

You will read schematics and blueprints, interpret HVAC design plans and manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure reliable operation and extend system lifespan.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues with existing systems, perform appliance repairs, and optimize system performance.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes and environmental regulations related to HVAV/R systems.
