Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an HVAC Technician in Linthicum, Maryland, for a 2nd shift role. The technician will install, operate, maintain and repair facility HVAC systems including boilers, chillers and air handling equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, adjusting systems, and coordinating with facility engineers. Strong attention to safety and preventive maintenance is required; U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with an approved four-year electrical or pipefitter apprenticeship.
• Completion of HVAC technical school or six years of HVAC experience.
• Ability to perform the duties described in this job posting.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain HVAC systems including boilers, air handling units, air cleaners, pumps and chillers.
• Diagnose malfunctions of HVAC equipment and perform repairs per manuals and specs.
• Regulate air handling systems for clean rooms and office areas, liaising with engineers as needed.
• Move materials and tools, perform routine maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
