Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to install, repair and maintain a wide range of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment within our facilities in Kentucky. You will troubleshoot systems, perform preventive maintenance, adjust controls, and repair electrical components of building management systems as needed.

The role requires 2–4 years of HVAC/refrigeration experience, a high school diploma or GED, and EPA Recovery/CFC Type 2 certification within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years of HVAC maintenance and refrigeration experience.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, and VAV systems.
• EPA Recovery Certification within 90 days of employment.
• CFC Recovery Type 2 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors, boilers, chillers, pumps, and related components.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning HVAC systems and diagnose refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and calibrate controls.
• Repair wiring and electronic components for building management systems.
• Maintain records of time, labor, materials and parts; ensure safe working conditions.
