Job summary

Thirty Madison Ventures seeks an HVAC Technician in Columbus, MS to diagnose and repair residential and small commercial systems. The role emphasizes thorough system diagnostics, service-plan upsells, and working within a six-person team on a rotating on-call schedule.

Base pay is $25–$30/hr plus commission; includes a company vehicle, tool funding, and health insurance stipend along with 401k, PTO, and training toward certifications. Days run 7:15–4/5, with Sundays optional half-day.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years HVAC experience, school-trained.
• EPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems across residential and commercial work.
• Run full system diagnoses on each call and upsell where appropriate.
• Install and service equipment from major brands.
• Recommend system upgrades and service plans when sensible.
• Rotate into on-call schedule as part of a team.
• Maintain clean, accurate records in service software.
