A private community management company in Silver Spring is seeking an HVAC Technician for a full-time role, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers. Candidates must have a CFC certification, Maryland Journeyman HVAC License, and 3-5 years of experience. Qualifications

• CFC certification and/or license in refrigerant, transition, and recovery required.
• Maryland Journeyman HVAC License required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in HVAC maintenance/installation/service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems safely and professionally.
• Inspect, operate or test machinery/equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Document all installed equipment and maintain daily job log.

Skills

Knowledge of refrigeration principles

Skill in using hand tools

Ability to interpret schematics

Ability to install heat pumps

Education

High School Diploma or GED
