Job summary

Capital Health seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment across heating, cooling, and related systems. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential.

On-the-job training is provided. The position is full-time with a 40-hour work week, requiring safety-conscious performance and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year related experience.
• Knowledge: Proficient in English; good verbal and written communication.
• Training: On the job training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling and related systems.
• Estimates material requirements and manages work orders.
• Interprets prints/drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and uses PPE.
• Adjusts work schedule to accommodate needs; able to work overtime.
• Completes PM work orders and aims for high monthly completion.
• Assists other department members as needed.
