Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Houston seeks an experienced HVAC Technician Instructor to educate and mentor students, combining hands-on lab training with classroom theory to prepare graduates for service careers. You will teach advanced diagnostic and repair techniques, guide troubleshooting scenarios, and ensure students gain industry-ready skills while maintaining a stable, climate-controlled environment.

This role requires at least 5 years of field experience within the last decade, EPA 608 certification,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic experience within the last 10 years.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex system failures.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical circuits, controls, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Teach advanced diagnostic and repair techniques using Lincoln Tech's proven curriculum in classroom and hands-on lab settings.
• Guide students through practical troubleshooting scenarios, system analysis, and repair procedures.
• Demonstrate proper testing, calibration, and repair of various HVAC components and systems.
• Share real-world insights on identifying and resolving complex system failures.
• Train students on proper use of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and service procedures.
• Prepare students for industry certifications and successful careers as service technicians.
