Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks an HVAC Technician to install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps, and related equipment.

This role often works outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics or crawl spaces as needed. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, wiring and piping tasks, calibrating thermostats, and responding to emergencies on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with HVAC certification required.
• 4–6 years of HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience leading or supervising others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems in heating/air conditioning systems.
• Install and maintain HVAC systems.
• Lay out wires and pipes for HVAC installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Calibrate thermostats and controls.
• Respond to emergency situations including on-call shifts.
• Replace faulty parts and fabricate components as needed.
