Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
• EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant handling is required.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role.
• Experience with residential, commercial, and/or industrial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Diagnose malfunctioning HVAC systems and identify the cause of the problem.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Test installed equipment and troubleshoot initial issues.
• Explain system issues, options, and costs to clients.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.
