Instant A/C & Electric, a Wesley Chapel-based HVAC and electrical service company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating and cooling systems in homes and small businesses in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa area and surrounding regions.

Ideal candidates have EPA certification, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualificações

• 4+ years HVAC experience with refrigeration knowledge and replacement diagnostics.
• Type II EPA Certification or Universal required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have basic hand tools and essential testing equipment.
• Familiarity with city/county codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to crawl, climb, and work in tight spaces; on-call duties possible.

Responsabilidades

• Install/replace HVAC equipment including ductwork and rooftop units.
• Perform maintenance and repair on various HVAC systems.
• Service both residential and light commercial equipment.
• Maintain company vehicle and stock of parts/tools.
• Coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules and inform customers.
• Engage with homeowners to explore upsell opportunities.
• Process job paperwork and payments at the job site.
• Participate in training on new technologies and customer service.
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you will install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.

Instant A/C & Electric is a small Wesley Chapel-based HVAC and electrical service company looking for a Technician/Installer to work mainly in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa and surrounding areas.

You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities

• Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
• Perform maintenance and repair on various HVAC systems
• Work on Residential and Commercial Equipment
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch software to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
• Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement
• Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other electronic paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
• Participate in company-provided, vendor, and manufacturer training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
• Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor

Qualifications

• 4+ years actual work experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring
• Type II EPA Certification or Universal
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Minimum Tool Requirements: Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, basic power tools and hammer.
• Minimum Testing Equipment usage: Refrigerant Gauges, Electrical Multi-Meter, and Micron Gauge
• Working knowledge of city/county codes
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
• Be on an on call rotation to work occasionally after hours/weekends as needed
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt techniques to comply with company protocols
• Able to learn and utilize company scheduling and invoice software
• Good driving record and willingness to go through a drug and background check
