Hawkins Service Company in the Tampa Bay Area is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties. You will ensure systems operate safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and on-call. A valid EPA 608 certification and a clean driving record are preferred; training and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• EPA 608 certification (HVAC) preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and functions.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to work on call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Replace or repair defective components and wiring.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining system issues and maintenance requirements to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Job Summary
