Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor.
• Fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork and chassis parts.
• Cuts and bends tubing to length and connects to refrigerating units.
• Connects motors, compressors, controls, and fans to panels and power source.
• Installs expansion and discharge valves in circuit.
• Injects refrigerant to test systems and builds prescribed pressures.
• Replaces defective breakers, thermostats, switches, fuses, and wiring.
• Performs routine and non-routine decisions with some latitude.
