Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an HVAC Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC and building systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will inspect, service, and repair boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, and related equipment while following safety standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Experience with chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, and boilers preferred
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems per CMMS schedules.
• Install/replace lighting ballasts and bulbs per work requests.
• Assist senior technicians with repairs of HVAC and electrical components.
• Analyze system operation and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct building rounds and report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and other reporting tools.
• Keep tools and workspace organized and safe.
• Follow OSHA safety practices and PPE requirements.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
• Maintain reliable attendance and provide notification for absences.
