Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC seeks an HVAC Technician2 to maintain and repair our critical HVAC/R systems in a GMP manufacturing setting. The role requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising installations, and leading small projects with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will support 24/7 operations, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to optimize ventilation, air balance, and production environments.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance and repair experience (2–4 years).
• Apprenticeship or vocational HVAC training completed.
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery Certification held.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on HVAC/R systems with limited supervision.
• Reports complex HVAC issues to senior technicians or management.
• Oversees installation of equipment as required.
• Leads small HVAC system and cold room projects.
• Provides maintenance schedule recommendations to management.
• Mentors or trains HVAC technicians.
• Follows all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Tests and certifies HEPA filters as scheduled.
• Assists with vendor contracts and external support as needed.
• Participates in system air balancing and SOP development.
