Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an HVAC Technician 2 in Texas to deliver, install and service portable HVAC equipment for customers. You will train customers on safe operation, manage paperwork, and ensure equipment is in good condition for customer use.

Required are 3–5 years of HVAC experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work after hours and weekends during peak times. A formal HVAC certificate is preferred and benefits with competitive pay are included.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment; trains operator on safe use of equipment.
• Communicates with customers, managers and engineers to schedule deliveries and service calls.
• Runs papers for deliveries, pickups and service calls; tracks serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots and understands operation, specs and controls of rental equipment.
• Operates company vehicle safely and adheres to safety policies.
• Cleans and tests returned equipment to ensure operation and appearance.
