Job summary

Sycuan is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across its facilities. The role requires inspecting motors, compressors, and controls; repairing defective parts; and planning installations for evaporator units and ductwork.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of HVAC/R experience, and an EPA Universal Certificate. Desirable: an Associate’s degree and casino/hospitality industry exposure.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R EPA Universal Certificate.
• Associates Degree in HVAC/R or related field is desirable.
• Exposure to the casino, hospitality and/or hotel industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains HVAC equipment by inspecting motors, compressors, temperature/humidity controls, and electrical systems; repairs or replaces defective parts; plans and installs evaporator units, pipes, tubing, conduit, and thermostats.
• Maintains safe work and storage area by cleaning and organizing designated storage area; stores tools and materials; follows safety standards while using tools.
