Job summary

Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking an HVAC Technician II for our Salt Lake Clinic. The role requires experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation, and supports boilers, chillers, air handlers, and building automation systems.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 40-hour work week and a competitive hourly rate. Ideal candidates are pursuing licensure or an apprenticeship, can work independently, and collaborate with facilities and external contractors

Qualifications

Experience as an HVAC technician.
Demonstrated abilities of the skills listed above.
A valid driver license may be required for this position.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance and inspections, diagnosing and repairing issues.
Work with boilers, chillers, air handlers, and control systems.
Works with little supervision or with minimal support from outside contractors.
