Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD seeks an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. You will install, maintain, service and repair environmental control systems including chillers, AHUs, controls and pumps, ensuring reliability for midshipmen, staff, faculty and sailors.

Requires a MD State HVAC Master License, EPA Universal, a high school diploma, and trade school certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• MD HVAC Master License required.
• EPA CFR part 82f Universal required.
• Recognized trade school certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair chillers, AHUs, controls, packaging units and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate equipment to determine repairs and optimize performance.
• Install refrigeration and A/C systems per design specifications and test for leaks.
• Operate and maintain all associated electrical, pneumatic and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in predictive maintenance programs.
