Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support HVAC and other building systems across MCW facilities. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with repairs.

You will conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, report issues to supervision, and participate in small projects such as piping and system shutdowns to minimize downtime and protect building operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety practices, emergency procedures, operations and maintenance, risk management, planning and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on building systems.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair multiple building systems.
• Inspect equipment daily, weekly, and monthly and report malfunctions to supervision.
• Assist with small projects, such as piping and system shutdowns, to support maintenance operations.
