Job summary

F.H. Furr is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and install residential systems in occupied homes. This role offers year-round work, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and competitive, performance-based pay.

You'll perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system upgrades, working with modern tools and receiving ongoing training. A valid driver's license is required, and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork and ventilation.
• Confident interacting with homeowners in a customer-facing environment.
• Detail-oriented, dependable and able to multitask.
• Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices in the field.
• Valid driver’s license (must be at least 21).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems in occupied homes.
• Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC systems and components, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats and IAQ components.
• Troubleshoot airflow, comfort, efficiency, and system performance issues.
• Conduct full system evaluations and clearly explain findings and options to homeowners.
